My Top Red and Green Senshi Suits (A Christmas themed post)

My Top Red Senshi Suits

The red senshi, the one that stands out the most and gets the spotlight most of the time.  The one kids just love to emulate.  It’s either you’re red or nothing.  He’s the main character in every season, (though I know Ninja Red is not in Kakuranger).  He can either be daring, reckless, childish or super serious and responsible.  In the end, he ends up saving the day and that’s why he’s always cool.  This will be chronologically arranged but not necessarily in order of my liking.

1.  I think the 1^st suit that stands out to me would be Ryuranger.  Growing up with Power Rangers, seeing this awesome suit design not included in the mythology is a shame.  It looks cool and bad ass.

2.   Gao Red.  Again I might be biased of Wild Force but his lion theme goes very well with the helmet.  His pose is also very nice to look at.

3.  Magi Red.  When I first saw Mystic Force, I loved the capes.

4.  Geki Red.  I have heard complaints of the no belt but I did not really care.  When I watched Jungle Fury, I liked the suits except the weird shoes.

5.  Gokai Red.  No doubt about it this pirate design really catches ones eye.

To get it out of the way, here’s my top Green Senshi Suits as well, since the Christmas spirit should still be around.

1.  Dragon Ranger.  It’s a no brainer!

2.  Shurikenger – I’d like to make it very clear, I only like this form.  Looks a bit feminine though, I remember Henshin Grid also noticed it.

And that’s it, regular green senshis do not really catch my eye.  I think they are designed to be less eye catching so that the focus would be on the red senshi.  He’s the one who sells the goods after all.

My Top Female Senshi Suits

Now I list down my top Female Senshi Suits.  This is also to list my top White and Blue female warriors.  It’s hard to list this in order but here I go.

1. Geki Yellow – I said it before I’ll say it again, my absolute favorite.

2. Gao White – I must have a thing for cats (though I have 3 dogs) but I really love her design.  There are shades of pink and I also like her voice.

3. Gokai Pink – Her real appeal is her voice.  I love her princess like gestures all the time and her combination of pink and black on her suit is just right.

4. White Swan – Her actions are elegant and I love her pink legs.  What differentiates her from Blue Swallow is exactly that, the pink legs.  Her helmet may look like the other Jetman but unlike Blue Swan, aside from the skirt, one can easily see White Swan is a female senshi, not to mention a good looking one at that.    

5. Heart Queen – I have to say, I really like her design and voice.  I honestly want to download all JAQK just to see her in action.

6. Denzi Pink – Again, her light shade of Pink, the scarf and her helmet design all mesh together to create a really good looking suit.

I really can’t decide on 4, 5, and 6, they are interchangeable.

My top Sentai Vs Movies

Before I watch 199 heroes, I thought of listing down which Vs movies I have enjoyed the most.  I have no doubt 199 heroes will take the top spot but in the meantime, here are my top 5.

1. Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger Vs Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger (subbed by Gao Soul Forever)

I just really, really loved the well choreographed fight scenes, both mecha and sentai.

2. Gekisou Sentai Carranger Vs Choriki Sentai Ohranger (subbed by Gao Soul Forever)

This was a shockingly good movie.  I came in with low expectations and it blew me away.

3. Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger Vs Super Sentai (subbed by Tokuplex)

Bringing back old warriors and awesome clip shows placed it in 3^rd place. 

4. GoGo Sentai Boukenger Vs Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger (subbed by TV-Nihon)

Great fight scenes.  This is also the last movie timewise where the mecha battles do not look too ridiculous.

5. Goranger Vs JAKQ (subbed by Grown Ups in Spandex)

Kinda odd but I really enjoyed the fight scene and the classic feel of it all.
